“SATU MARE ON MOVE”

The “Satu Mare on Move” project financed through the Logo East II programme has been finalized by drafting the final reports and forwarding them for analysis to the financing body, VNG International - The Association of Municipalities in Netherlands. The main aim of this project was to develop and implement a sound and efficient human resources policy in the entire municipal organization, the project being implemented in common by the Satu Mare Municipality City Hall and the City Hall of the twin city of Zutphen from Netherlands.

The team project was constituted on the Romanian part out of civil servants from the Satu Mare Municipality City Hall that have transposed the project’s aims in relevant activities and have conceived a change process in which all of the employees have been involved. The success of the project is owed to the Dutch manager of the project, Mr. Jacques van Trommel, as well as to Mr. Iuliu Ilyes, Mayor of Satu Mare Municipality, who has supported the team project throughout the entire project implementation period.

Both the Romanian as well as on the Dutch part are very satisfied with the results of this project and are convinced that the Satu Mare Municipality City Hall has undertaken significant progresses in order to become a more open, democratic and efficient organization. Taking into account these remarkable results, both parts involved in the project hope for the future to find the financial resources necessary for continuing the cooperation with a view to consolidate on the long terms the results.
